DINARD, the Pearl of the Emerald Coast, is the Paradise for happy holidays.
Dinard and Saint Malo complement each other wonderfully : the grace and gentleness of the one temper the force and roughness of the other; the granite is at a cable's length away from the palm-trees, the fashionable resort at the gates of the historical City...

What you should visit while in Dinard :

  • The TIDAL HYDRO ELECTRIC PLANT :

  • The first factory to use tidal energy, it is also a road link between Saint Malo and Dinard.
  • La VICOMTÉ :

  • On your way round its parapet-walk you will enjoy one of the most beautiful landscapes of the Emerald Coast, the bay with the islands and forteresses peeping through the trees, and a view of the Rance River Dam.
  • The BEACH and the PRIEURE SWIMMING POOL :

  • Are popular stopping points on this walk. Admirable view of the bay of Saint Malo.
  • PORT BRETON PARK :

  • Boulevard de la Libération. Magnificient and quick. Park bordering the Riding Center and Tennis Courts.
  • The YACHT HARBOUR :

  • Shelters many yachts.
  • The MOONLIGHT WALK :

  • Among flowers and palm trees demonstrating the mildness of the local climate. On summer evenings background music adds, to your pleasure.
  • The "MOULINET" HEADLAND :

  • Outstanding panorama from Cape Fréhel to the La Varde headland with Saint Malo as background.
  • The GRANDE PLAGE

  • Popular center of Dinard Life. Bordering the Casino, Arts and Festival Palace, the Olympic swimming pool (heated sea water).
  • "La MALOUINE" HEADLAND

  • On the cliffs which overlook the west end of the beach, is this point. The avenues are bordered by luxurious villas. From the cornice overlooking the sea, the view is marvellous and extends over the whole coasts.
  • SAINT ÉNOGAT:

  • The Cradle of Dinard. Bears the name of one of the first bishops of Aleth. On the outskirts of Dinard, this popular resort with its superb beach of fine sand is much appreciated by offshore fishermen.
